Markéta Seidlová, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Military Leadership, University of Defence, Czech Republic. She specializes in international migration, integration policies, and the societal dimensions of security. She earned her Ph.D. in Social Geography and Regional Development from Charles University in Prague, focusing on French immigration and integration policy. Her academic experience includes research stays in France and a postdoctoral fellowship in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, examining local integration policies and transatlantic perspectives. Her current research explores migration and security, refugee integration, social adaptation, and majority–minority relations. She also has extensive experience as a policy advisor in migration policy and in NGO practice.
