I am a cultural anthropologist whose work examines how mobility, institutions, governance, and cultural practices shape everyday life in contemporary societies. Grounded in ethnographic inquiry, my research engages with questions of diversity, transculturality, agency, responsibility, belonging, and social transformation across diverse social and transnational contexts. My work brings together qualitative ethnography, interdisciplinary perspectives, and mixed-methods approaches to explore migration, institutional life, and societal change. I am particularly interested in the ways public institutions, organizational structures, and cultural formations shape decision-making, social relations, and lived experience. I hold a PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology and have regional research experience across Europe, North America, the Caribbean, and West Africa. My scholarly interests lie at the intersection of migration studies, the anthropology of institutions and governance, and broader questions of culture, inequality, and social transformation. Alongside my research, I teach at BA and MA level in Anthropology, Cultural Studies and related fields. My teaching focuses on ethnographic methods, migration, and music and popular culture as cultural texts, with particular attention to transnational dynamics, representation, and social inequality. I am also Co-Founder of GLUE – Global Learning & Understanding Each Other, an international initiative dedicated to collaborative learning, intercultural exchange, and dialogue across institutional and societal boundaries. Through GLUE, I develop formats that connect academic knowledge with public engagement. My work is guided by a commitment to rigorous scholarship, collaborative research practices, and forms of knowledge that are both analytically robust and socially meaningful.
