Sahbaz

I am a researcher specializing in international relations, migration research, international journalism, and security and intelligence studies. I hold a PhD from the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where my research focused on Turkey's migration policy within the context of EU membership. My broader academic interests include migration policies, the role of journalism in international affairs, and the operations of security and intelligence organizations. I have published extensively on topics related to Turkish foreign policy, migration studies, and media narratives, with articles appearing in various Russian academic journals. My research combines theoretical and policy-oriented approaches, including a methodological focus on migration processes and international security dynamics. I completed my MA in International Journalism at MGIMO and my BA in International Relations at Ankara University. My academic journey has been supported by the Ministry of National Education of Turkey, which funded my postgraduate studies. Currently, I am engaged in postdoctoral research, further exploring the intersections of migration policy and international security.
