Post-doctoral researcher in the School of Social Sciences at the University of Iceland. With extensive fieldwork experience in The Gambia, Chile, Morocco, Haiti, RD Congo, Turkey, Romania, and Spain, he does research in migration, transnationalism, (im)mobilities, humanitarianism, and informality. He has been the main editor of the journal Perifèria (2018–2021), and his work has been published in various peer-reviewed journals such as Social Anthropology (2019), Mobilities (2019), Migration Letters...
