Siddikoglu

Hidayet Siddikoglu is the founder of the Bilim Organization for Research and Social Studies. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the American University of Afghanistan in Doha, Qatar, and has recently taken on the role of Publishing House Director and Senior Research at Migration Research Foundation in Ankara, Türkiye. Also he serves as a Co-Chair (Global South) of the IMISCOE Standing Committee. His research focuses on conflict, peace, and migration studies, with a particular emphasis on migration governance and management. Dr. Siddikoglu completed his PhD at Hiroshima University and holds two master’s degrees: one in Development Science from Hiroshima University and another in International Security from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He has worked as a local coordinator at UNITAR-Türkiye and senior researcher on various development and humanitarian projects funded by UN agencies including UNICEF, WFP, and the World Bank in Afghanistan and Türkiye.
