Córdova Montes, Elizabeth

Elizabeth
Córdova Montes

Clinical Psychologist and Master’s degree holder in Social Management, with extensive interdisciplinary experience spanning clinical practice, community-based interventions, higher education, and applied research. I have led and technically coordinated Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) strategies in humanitarian and development contexts, working with migrant and refugee populations as well as host communities in Peru. My research agenda centers on healthcare access, socioeconomic integration processes, identity construction, and intergroup relations within migrant populations. I am particularly interested in gendered and intersectional dimensions of migration, with a focus on women, adolescents, and sexually diverse populations, examining how structural inequalities, discrimination, and social policies shape psychosocial outcomes and trajectories of inclusion.
