Mahmood

Hasnain Mahmood is a legal professional whose work centers on international law, human rights, and migration. He holds an LL.B (Honors) and LL.M from the International Islamic University Chittagong, along with an LL.M in Human Rights from Chittagong Independent University. He is a Fellow at the Bangladesh Center for Refugee Law Studies (BCRLS), where he focuses on refugee law, forced displacement, state responsibility, and broader questions of transnational justice. His work brings together legal research, policy analysis, and on-the-ground perspectives to better understand how law protects vulnerable populations. Hasnain is also an Accredited Civil/Commercial Mediator (UK). His publications explore international humanitarian law, conflict-related norms, and global legal challenges. Through his research and professional engagements, he aims to support informed policy making and advance the study and practice of rights-based legal protection.
