Ombugadu

A PhD student of History in the Department of History and Diplomatic Studies, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nigeria. My research, “Eggon Labour Migration to the Tin Fields of the Plateau Province, 1926 – 1960,” examines how colonial policies influenced labour migration among minority and underserved populations. Thus, it considers migrant workers integration and precariousness in receiving societies, thereby highlighting the strategies for adapting to the uncertainties of labour migration, and exploring actionable options for sustainable labour migration governance.
