I am a sociologist of migration and education, interested in the nexus of displacement, urbanization, and child rights. I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Migration and Sustainable Development Research Group at the International Institute of Applied Systems Analysis, Austria. Previously I was a postdoc at the University of Pennsylvania at the "Climate Change, Migration and Urbanization" Lab at Perry World House. My PhD dissertation focused on the education and integration of urban refugee children in Kampala, Uganda. I work on climate and conflict-induced migration and policy and used various methods in my work.
