Elizabeth Wambui is an immigration practitioner, independent researcher, and the founder of Millennia Immigration Consultancy in Kenya. Holding a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, her work bridges the gap between theoretical migration policy and on-the-ground border administration. Her research is directly informed by her experience serving at Kenya’s State Department of Immigration, giving her a critical vantage point on civil registration, document security, and state sovereignty. Her current research focuses on identity documentation and the unequal politics of belonging, examining how structural inequalities shape access to global mobility for African citizens.
