Dr. Syed Imran Haider is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Research Fellow at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy, where he is executing an independent project focused on Transnational Fatherhood, Negotiating Masculinity, and Parental Care in the Digital Communication Era. Drawing on his background as an Associate Professor and Chairman of Sociology in Pakistan, Dr. Haider’s expertise bridges academic theory and applied development. His work concentrates on the intersection of migration, gender, and sexuality, evidenced by his foundational research on life skills education, criminology, and gender-based violence. As an internationally certified Master Trainer and Technical Advisor for organizations like Rutgers, UNWOMEN, and Nutrition International, he specializes in developing gender transformative approaches and building capacity for social and reproductive health programs in complex contexts.
