Ratzmann
Policy Researcher, with PhD in Social Policy, specialising on migration politics and welfare state research. Extensive academic and non-academic research experience, including posts at the London School of Economics‘ Centre of Analysis for Social Exclusion, the policy think tank RAND Europe, UNESCO’s Institute for Educational Planning, the Expert Council of German Foundations for Migration and Integration, and capplied research ollaborations with German government institutions, such as the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GIZ, or the Special Representative for Migration and Integration at the German Federal Chancellery. Currently Research Fellow at the German Center for Integration and Migration Research (DeZIM), a political and scientific initiative to strengthen migration research in Germany, and Research Associate at Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies, leading the particiatory research and qualitative evaluation stream of the French-German Forum for the Future, which engages with local and regional initiatives in France and Germany that strive to steer major social, economic, ecological or technological transitions in their region and to inform national policymaking.
