Gabriella Thomázy holds a Ph.D. in Military Sciences with a specialization in Security Studies and has an academic background in Sociology, Human Resource Management, and Education Studies. She is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Public Service in Hungary and a Researcher at the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga (Global Faculty Program) in Colombia. Her research focuses on migration, South America, and security studies.
