He specializes in migration studies with an emphasis on its cultural and social implications on Morocco as a 'new' destination setting. His research focuses on migration in Morocco and issues related to migrants’ integration into the urban public sphere. Between 2013 and 2022, Saâd worked for Morocco’s Ministry of Migration Affairs and was in charge of international cooperation and partnerships, and studies on migration. He also coordinated the conception and implementation of Morocco’s decentralized migration policy on the local level (Territorialization).
