Dr. N. Ela Gökalp-Aras is a senior researcher and the principal investigator of “GAPs: De-centring the Study of Migrant Returns and Readmission Policies in Europe and Beyond Project” Horizon Project at the Swedish Research Institute in Istanbul (SRII). She has a B.A. degree in International Relations from Ankara University (2000), MSc. (2005) Ph.D. (2013) degrees in Sociology from Middle East Technical University. She is MSc. student at SOAS London University, Climate Change and Development Programme.
