I am a sociologist studying transnational migrants. They are minorities in Hong Kong and Chinese Singaporeans in global cities. Currently, I am interested in the (views on) socialities of Chinese Singaporean migrant in their transnational spaces in the contexts of education, work, family and/or friendships/lifestyle. Furthermore, I am working on the representations of migrant workers in the media in Singapore.
