Kudus Oluwatoyin Adebayo is a Research Fellow in the Diaspora and Transnational Studies Unit, Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Postdoctoral Fellow of the ACLS African Humanities Program, 2020-2021. He obtained his PhD from the Department of Sociology, University of Ibadan, Nigeria where his thesis examined the migration and settlement of Nigerians in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.
