Eva Østergaard-Nielsen is professor of political science at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona since 2010. Her main research interests center on the politics of migration in both receiving and origin countries, migrants’ transnational networks and, processes of migration led democratic diffusion in countries of origin. She is the PI of the ERC Consolidator project: Migration and Democratic Diffusion (MIGRADEMO). Eva is also member of the advisory board of two leading journals of migration studies...
