Dr. Glicksman holds a PhD in Sociology and has focused his research on older migrants and their interactions with the formal health and social service systems. He is a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. His work on older refugees including trauma survivors in long term care settings has been funding by private foundations and by the National Institutes of Health.
