Matthew Heneghan is an ESRC-funded doctoral researcher in the School of Social and Political Science at the University of Glasgow (UK). His research focuses on the political economy of labour migration, remittances and development in Russia, Central Asia and the South Caucasus. He is an affiliated researcher with the LSE IDEAS think-tank (UK) and Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University (USA). He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in International Political Economy, Comparative Politics and Migration Studies at the University of Edinburgh (UK) and Central European University (Austria). He holds an MSc in International Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK) and MA (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh (UK).
