I received PhD in Political Science from the Faculty of Social Science, University of Oslo, Norway in 2014. I completed MA from GSIS, Ajou University, South Korea and BA from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Currently, I am the Deputy Director and a Researcher at Social Science Baha (SSB) (www.soscbaha.org), a research organization based in Kathmandu, Nepal. I am also Research Director of Center for the Study of Labour and Mobility (CESLAM) (www.ceslam.org) at SSB. I have been serving as a teaching faculty at DIRD and CPDS Tribhuvan University Kathmandu Nepal where I have taught master’s degree courses. At Office of the Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Soccial Sciences, I also teach a PhD course, Research Methods in International Relations. Previously, I worked as a research fellow at the Nautilus Institute (Seoul Branch) and Democracy and Social Movements Institute (DaSMI), Sungkonghoe University, Seoul, South Korea. My research interest include: public policies, democracy, conflict and peace, labour and migration, state-society relations, governance and institutions, development and co-operation, disaster, gender and social inclusion (GESI), and evidence-based research. I have provided technical support to various government agencies and stakeholders on the issues of labour and migration.
