I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Annenberg Institute at Brown University in Rhode Island, USA. Using qualitative and participatory methods, I study how educators, families, and community organizations create healthy, welcoming learning environments for newcomer and multilingual youth. My work was recently funded by a National Academy of Education/Spencer Foundation Dissertation Fellowship. I earned a Ph.D. and A.M. in education from Harvard University, where I was a Presidential Scholar, as well as a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
