Naseri

I am a PhD student at Equity_CERPOP, University of Toulouse III, Paul Sabatier, France. My research focuses on assessing antenatal care access among Afghan women refugees and asylum seekers in France, employing a mixed-methods approach with a strong emphasis on community participatory approaches. I have more than 3 years of experience working with the World Health Organization (WHO) on health system strengthening projects in Afghanistan in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health and various NGOs. Throughout my career, I have led and contributed to research initiatives addressing critical public health challenges, including family planning, adolescent health, maternal health, the health workforce, tuberculosis, and COVID-19. I hold a Master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in health promotion and community health from the American University of Beirut (AUB), funded through the TDR Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases. My work is driven by a commitment to advancing equitable healthcare access to vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, and strengthening health systems through research and evidence-based policies.
