I am interested in social inequality; how it is created, fostered, and reproduced. To do so I focus on the interplay between the social world its actors and their relations on economic action and outcomes. Particularly, how social processes (re)establish economic and social inequalities. My research focuses on uncovering the mechanisms that drive these (structural) inequalities in both the economy and society with a specific focus on the forces and outcomes of migration.
