I'm a Sociologist with a specific interest in Migration Studies, Transnationalisation and Empirical Social Research. In my PhD thesis I analysed dynamics of change in transnational families. Currently I coordinate an action oriented project on local integration policies and intra-EU mobility between Romania, Bulgaria and the Ruhr Area in Germany (eu2migraruhr.eu/en). Before my position at RUB I lived and did research in Spain, Ecuador, Belgium,The Netherlands.
