I'm a Sociologist with a specific interest in Migration Studies, Transnationalisation and Empirical Social Research. In my PhD thesis I analysed dynamics of change in transnational families. I coordinated an action oriented project on local integration policies and intra-EU mobility between Romania, Bulgaria and the Ruhr area in Germany. Before my position at RUB I lived and did research in Spain, Ecuador, Belgium,The Netherlands. Recentyl I worked as an advisor at Landesintegrationsrat NRW.
