Anoji Ekanayake holds a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She has extensive experience in research on migrant workers and internally displaced persons. Her PhD thesis focused on the return, reintegration, and remigration of Sri Lankan migrant workers from the Gulf region.
