My research sits at the intersections of refugee studies, critical humanitarianism and gender, with an area focus on Turkey. I'm keen to explore refugee regimes and humanitarianism at the finer levels of analysis and have contributed to the understanding of dynamic strategising among refugees and experiences of urban refugeehood. I am also interested in exploring how historical legacies shape contemporary im/mobilities in multiple locations.
