I am a social anthropologist and associated member of the Centre for Social Anthropology, LISST-CAS, at Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès, France. My research focuses on ageing, migration, care, gender and life course transitions in Central Asia. In my current project, I examine ageing in the context of large-scale labour migration between Tajikistan and Russia, focusing in particular on older adults’ transnational mobilities, intergenerational relations and care arrangements across borders.
