I am a sociologist specialized in the cultural sociology of migration in Central and Eastern Europe. I work as an assistant professor at Mendel university in Brno (Czechia) and I cooperate closely with the researchers from the Center for cultural sociology of migration at Masaryk university. My student internship in a refugee camp initiated a long-term research interest in migration, immigrant reception, processes of Othering and construction of belonging that I have studied through qualitative research...
