Asma Hedi
Nairi
Dr Asma Hedi Nairi is a researcher, author and human rights practitioner. Her research focuses on forced migration, refugee protection, migration studies and diaspora studies, with particular attention to their intersections with communication, representation and lived experience in Euro Mediterranean and MENA contexts. She holds a PhD in International Relations, with a political anthropology orientation and a focus on refugee and migration studies. Her work combines qualitative methods, critical discourse analysis, policy analysis and field based engagement with civil society, international organisations and public institutions.
