I hold a PhD in anthropology and specialize in health, gender, and India. My research focuses on social inequalities in perinatal health, both in India and within migratory journeys. I have conducted ethnographic studies in various medical settings in Gujarat (India) as well as in Île-de-France. The main languages I use in my research are Hindi, Urdu, and English. As a postdoctoral researcher and scientific coordinator of the Health department at the Institut Convergences Migrations in Aubervilliers (93), I study the impact of limited proficiency in French on perinatal care pathways, with a particular focus on the experiences of South Asian women living in Île-de-France. An associate member of CESSMA (UMR 245) and the 'Reproductive Justice Research Group', I also teach at INALCO University.
