DIB
Salim Dib is a Professor (Assistant) of Migration and Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Letters and Humanities, Sais, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, Morocco. He holds a doctorate focusing on media representations of Sub-Saharan migration in Morocco (2023). His research lies primarily within Migration Studies, with particular interests in Sub-Saharan migration, media representations of migration, migration narratives and discourse, borders and (im)mobilities, and the intersections between migration, media, and culture. His work critically examines how migrants and migration are represented, negotiated, and contested within Moroccan and broader Afro-Mediterranean contexts. His current research also explores digital migration discourse, migration policy , and the role of digital media in shaping migration imaginaries and mobilities.
