Dr Simone Varriale has published on the relations between social inequality, globalization and migration, with a focus on EU migration and South-North European inequalities, in journals such as Sociology, The Sociological Review Current Sociology and the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies. He has published a monograph on Unequal EU Migrations with Bristol University Press (2023).
