Olawale Lawal is a Migration and Refugee Studies Professor and holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria's premier University. He worked with the Royal Netherlands Embassy from 1997-2005 before joining the Department of History and International Studies, at Lagos State University from 2005 to date He is a senior lecturer of the Department. Dr Lawal was a member of the Lagos History Project established by the former Governor of Lagos Mr Raji Babatunde Fashola from 2012-2015....
