Isabella Trombetta is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the NYU Center for European and Mediterranean Studies (CEMS). Previously postdoctoral associate at the BU Center on Forced Displacement (2023). Dr. Trombetta's book project focuses on migration in the Central Mediterranean and how international maritime law and humanitarian law affect border shaping in the high seas.
