Alyssa Marie Kvalvaag is a PhD Research Fellow in Sociology researching representations of migrant integration in the North of Norway with a local focus on policy, media, and migrant perspectives; she is affiliated with the research division Welfare and Social Relations. Kvalvaag is a Book Review Editor at the Nordic Journal of Migration Research and a member of the inaugural cohort of the IMISCOE PhD Academy.​
