I am a doctoral researcher and a field ethnographer focused on centering the stories told about circular labour mobilities, climate (im)mobilities, and precarities in movements. From the field of Political Science, I now work across fields of migration studies, using ethnographic tools to locate stories of internal labour migrant's circular movements from villages in Indian Sundarbans impacted by structural deprivation and climate change. My study is currently (2021-2025) funded through a scholarship from Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Germany.
