Laura Brody is a Marie-Sklodowska-Curie fellow participating in the European Joint Doctorate ‘MOVES’: Migration and Modernity – Historical and Cultural Challenges’ at Charles University and Paul-Valery University. Previously, she received an M.A. in International Migration from the University of Kent and a B.A. in International Comparative Studies from Duke University. Her research focuses on issues of forced migration, nationalism, memory, identity and belonging in the Balkans/Eastern Mediterranean.
