Adam
I am a political scientist affiliated with the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Hamburg. I received my PhD in Political Science from the University of Hamburg with distinction (summa cum laude). My research is situated at the intersection of border studies, critical migration studies, and urban citizenship.
My doctoral research examined the emotional topography of urban border regimes, focusing on everyday practices of border (de)construction and subaltern contestation within the European border regime. Methodologically, I work with qualitative, ethnographic, participatory, and mapping approaches, including arts-based research methods. I have presented my research at numerous international conferences and publish on issues related to borders, migration, citizenship, and critical approaches to knowledge production.
