Annalise Walkama holds a PhD in History from Purdue University and is a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Martin Institute and Idaho Society of Fellows at the University of Idaho. Her research centers on migration and citizenship in modern France, particularly through the lens of student and youth culture. She is currently preparing her first book project, Displaced Students: Race, Citizenship and Refugees in Cold War France, which explores the integration of Eastern European refugee students into French society during decolonization and the Cold War.
