Indi-Carolina Kryg is a doctoral researcher at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) and the Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS) at the University of Osnabrück, Germany. She is currently a lecturer at the Ibero-American University Puebla in Mexico. Her research focuses on intraregional migration in Latin America, border regimes, and citizenship, with particular attention to pro-migration civil society organizations and the political behavior of migrants in Mexico.
