Giada Mastrostefano is a geographer holding a PhD in Geography (GEOG-01/A) from the University of Molise. Her current research interests focus on voluntary migration towards rural and mountain areas. In particular, her doctoral research explored lifestyle migration in the Italian Apennines through the lens of migration imaginaries and the use of Critical Discourse Analysis. Her broader research interests include Heritage from Below and the use of audiovisual tools, such as short films, to develop research-action approaches aimed at the co-construction and analysis of territorial narratives.
