Associate Professor of Cultural Studies, University of Carthage, Tunisia, Higher Institute of Languages, Tunis (English Department) and Member of the Laboratory of Approaches to Discourse (LAD). Research: Cultural Studies, Media studies, Migration Studies, with particular focus on immigration and its impact on host societies. Other research interests include ethnicity, minority groups, and national identities. Teaching: American and British Studies focused on the social makeup of the US and Britain, emphasizing the main trends of immigration and paying attention to white immigration, political institutions, elections, political parties, the Anglo-American relationship, the British colonies, the American Revolutionary War, the American Civil War and so on. Other courses cover Historiography, with particular attention to the main trends and schools, as well as the use of the past.
