Stefan Manser-Egli is a doctoral researcher and teaching assistant in Transnational Studies at the University of Neuchâtel. His PhD thesis enquires into the social imaginaries produced by ‘integration’ and, in particular, the requirement of adopting ‘liberal values’. He has a background in International Relations, Political Philosophy and Gender Studies and is associated with the ‘nccr – on the move’, the National Center of Competence in Research for migration and mobility studies.
