Maia is a PhD student at the University of Brighton, affiliated with the Centre for Spatial, Environmental and Cultural Politics. Her qualitative research explores the relation between climate-related water insecurities (including floods, extreme weather and contamination) and forced im/mobility amongst marginalised communities in Newham, London.
