I am an Assistant Professor in International Migration and Ethnic Relations at Malmö University's Institute for Migration Studies. My research examines various aspects of migration dynamics, including intra-EU mobility and its effects, the relationship between migration and socio-spatial inequalities, labour migration, local governance responses to immigration and emigration, and, more recently, the development and implementation of diaspora policies. I have previously held positions at the University of Groningen and Central European University, and have held research fellowships at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity, the International Migration Institute in Oxford, the University of Amsterdam and the Central European Labour Studies Institute in Bratislava.
