Josefine is a PhD candidate in Sociology and Social Inequality Research at the Humboldt-University Berlin (Germany). In her PhD project she investigates the construction of categories as part of research practices in relation to racism and educational inequality. She specialized in quantitative and partly qualitative methods. Josefine is a researh fellow at the WZB Berlin (Berlin Social Science Center) and part of the research group 'National Educational Panel Study: Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning'.
