Laura's particular area of interest is refugee education through the lens of social learning and the concept of intersectionality. She works as a Lecturer in the Lifelong Learning Centre at Cardiff University, teaching modules on courses that provide access routes to degrees and on co-created community courses that she largely delivers with asylum seekers and refugees.
