Eugenia
Blasetti
Eugenia Blasetti holds a PhD in Sociology (Sapienza University of Rome) and has recently completed a Postdoc in Sociology at the Department of Law, Politics and International Studies at the University of Parma where she conducted research on different forms of volunteering in the field of migration. Her work focuses on migration, solidarity and social inclusion across different institutional and civic contexts. She has conducted research on local inclusion policies for migrants, search and rescue NGOs in the Mediterranean, and local volunteering initiatives supporting migrants and refugees. She recently developed an interest in displacement and Higher Education with particular reference to Complementary Education Pathways and displaced students’ experiences during and after their studies as well as students' post-graduation trajectories.
