Anouck Baraud is a PhD candidate in the Political Sciences Department at Koç University (Istanbul, Türkiye) and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow within the EuroMedMig Doctoral Network. Her research focuses on urban inclusion places and their transmission from a generation or a community to another. She investigates exclusion/inclusion at non-places and non-times, community resilience, and new forms of urban citizenship in Istanbul and Marsille. She holds a Master’s degree in Migration Studies from EHESS and the University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, and a Bachelor in Political Science and International Relations from the UPEC (Univ. Paris Est Creteil). She has worked across France and Türkiye with civil society organizations and research institutions, focusing on refugee rights, urban transformations, and grassroots cultural practices.
